Abhishek Shrivastava is a Senior Legal Associate at StratJuris Law Partners, where he oversees matters related to corporate law, intellectual property rights (IPR), data privacy, commercial transactions, and corporate governance. After completing his B.A.L.L.B from Deccan Education Society’s Law College, Abhishek pursued various diplomas in Intellectual Property Law, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Law, and Cyber Laws from prestigious institutions, including NALSAR University, Hyderabad. As an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of India, Abhishek brings a combination of transactional and litigation experience to his practice.
Abhishek leverages his multifaceted experience, including previous in-house roles, to offer legal advisory services to clients across various industries. He assists in the development, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, safeguarding trade secrets, and ensures data privacy compliance frameworks for his clients. Abhishek’s meticulous approach to drafting and negotiating commercial agreements ensures that his clients’ commercial and legal interests are thoroughly safeguarded.
In his litigation practice, Abhishek has successfully represented clients before a range of judicial and quasi-judicial fora, including the High Courts, District Courts, and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). He is also experienced in handling insolvency and bankruptcy matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), recovery suits, and various commercial disputes, allowing him to provide sound legal advice to his clients. Abhishek has also represented clients in real estate disputes before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and in high-profile white-collar criminal cases, often involving allegations of fraud, financial misconduct, and breaches of fiduciary duty. Abhishek also provides counsel in competition law, guiding startups and entrepreneurs through regulatory frameworks and ensuring compliance with competition regulations in dynamic market environments.
As a member of SFLC’s Digital Defenders Network, Abhishek offers pro-bono legal counsel and representation in matters related to data privacy and cybersecurity. His thought leadership is reflected in numerous publications addressing a wide range of legal challenges, from safeguarding confidential information through restrictive covenants under the Indian regime and e-commerce intellectual property, to the registrability of GUIs in design law and the evolving role of AI in patent systems. Through his work, Abhishek ensures that his clients remain informed and well-prepared for emerging legal trends.
