Gaurav Joshi is a Trademark and Copyright Associate at Stratjuris Law Partners. He graduated in law (BBA-LL.B. Hons.) from Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Uttar Pradesh, and holds a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Laws from Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College, Pune. Gaurav is a Certified Lawyer accredited by the All-India Bar Council Association and is a registered member of the Bar Council of Uttarakhand, Nainital.
With two years of experience in Intellectual Property Law as an IP Associate, Gauravhas worked with both domestic and international clients on all aspects of trademark protection, prosecution, and litigation. He has managed trademark portfolios for clients across diverse industries including Food & Beverage, Chemical, Real Estate, Agriculture, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Logistics, Insurance, Healthcare, Information Technology, AutoIndustries, Education, Gems and Jewellery, Fashion, and Tourism. His responsibilities included drafting Cease and Desist Notices, plaints, written statements, injunction applications, copyright infringement suits, trademark suits for infringement and passing off, and drafting assignment and license agreements.
Gaurav’s expertise extends to managing trademark portfolios in national and international jurisdictions, preparing trademark availability reports, handling trademark filing and prosecution, identifying trademark infringement issues, and managing opposition and rectification matters. He regularly represents clients before the Trade Marks Registry for hearings.
