An alumnus of D.E.S Navalmal Firodia Law College, Nikith’s areas of interest include Intellectual property laws, Business laws, transaction advisory and litigation. Nikith’s work profile mainly focuses on core corporate matters, drafting legal opinions, drafting, finalizing and issuing legal notices of all kinds, commercial transactions as well as consulting entrepreneurs and organizations to scale their start-up using Intellectual Property. On the IPR front, Nikith assists clients in all aspects under enforcement of their intellectual property rights, trade secrets and issues related thereto under the TRIPS Agreement. Nikith aspires to be a good transactional lawyer and has had the opportunity to assist companies execute several national and international agreements and simultaneously has assisted clients in raising debt and equity.
Presently, at Startjuris Law Partners, Nikith offers strategic and transactional advice focusing on enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, facilitate transactional work and preparing various policies and framework as per client’s requirement. At Stratjuris, Nikith also handles litigation and roughly thirty to forty percent of his time is consumed in handling infringement suits for clients, contesting commercial suits, representing clients at various courts across India, Consumer Court and other quasi-judicial bodies. Besides, He has also handled recovery suits, quasi criminal matters [before JMFC], and matters pertaining to negotiable instrument act as well as breach of contract.
Nikith also is a Footballer and Hockey Player and an ardent fan of Chelsea Football Club.
